Hello, asking on behalf for my friend, she got a 2023 toyota yaris, and the car cam is supposedly by Toyota by default, any idea how to view the images and videos from the car cam ?

I believe should have wifi to connect to phone directly & no need to take out the card manually. coz even the cheapest 70mai dash am all got wifi nowadays. but I don't know how la. never bought & use a Toyota before.

maybe got info at the manual book if the car cam is from toyota.
may try toyota apps at store.

2023's cam may have wifi connectivity, your friend will need to download the app to retrieve the recording. But easiest way is just removing the memory card and read it in the computer. There should be a user manual guide on how to retrieve the recordings comes together with the car manual.

download app called 'toyota DVR' on your phone
launch the app, click on the 'person' symbol on bottom right.
There is a owner's manual there.

Jist of it is you need to press the 'wifi' button on the cam to turn on wifi, then use your phone to connect to the wifi and launch the Toyota DVR app to access the recordings.
