ok lar.. they deserve it.
They are the only club play consistently getting the points and on target to go over 90 points by end of EPL if they want it

The rest of clubs, no eye see lor. all cannot get even close to 80 point marks.  doh.gif
*
yes. they deserved it. kudos to slot. hopefully chelsea able to fix gk, cb and cf issues so that we can at least target top four with ease next season.

winning vs djurgarden didnt excite me as forest lost to brentford at home.

we have our fate in our own hands now. anything happen we must get 3 points at the the city ground during our last match of the season. we are now 5th with goal different advantage.

what a statement win against the champion.

as i said, win vs united at home and forest away is not too much for ask.

united are still in the UEL and amorim might bring the youth to face us at the bridge.

i would say 9 points left available, we can get at least another 6 points. newcastle away is not our best hunting ground tbh.

I think MU will be all in on this to be able to qualify for CL

Newcastle match result will hold important both us and Newcastle. Both cannot lose this match or the chances will be harder to qualify for CL
Unless of cos Forest slip and lose tomoro morning matches. If we win against Newcastle,
Newcastle may need to do the impossible double win against Arsenal to stand a chance top 5
Don't think Arsenal after CL with PSG, can win against pride wounded fully rested new EPL Champion Liverpool

Forest drew 1-1. I believe they are now fumbled near the finish line. They are not used to this situation. Last season they were fighting relegation battle and barely escaped.

The race for top 5 is in our own hands right now.

haha... if Arsenal do lose against Liverpool, it opens up 2nd and 3rd place for grab.
1st, we need to win against Newcastle to dream about finish higher than expected  laugh.gif
let hope our players are pump up to grab it

I agree. If we can win vs Newcastle, then the top five is confirmed. But if we were to aim higher we need to win both vs United and Forest.

If it were up to me to decide jackson fate, i would have fold him pack your bags and go tell your agent to find a club for you. Better if you try go go to Saudi follow jhon Duran. Earn big money and play lower level football.

Jackson for me should never played for chelsea again even in uecl final. He was decent sometimes but his temperament, his game reading IQ below average.

Tbh chelsea vs United both team played a mediacore match.

Lucky cucurella saved us this time around. With only 1 game left and forest won vs west ham last night we must win at their home ground to qualify.

It might come down to goal difference ffs. Newcastle lost to arsenal so we back to square one.

we play nottingham forest on sunday. then play the final of uecl on wednesday. just three days after our last EPL game of the season. meanwhile betis got extra time to prepare for the final.

it is like the FA england didnt care about their team when they play in the europe. spain and france did their best to help the team from their league when they play in europe. maybe this is one of the reason why psg able to beat all english team in the ucl this year.

All the pundits love underdog in this case it was Forest.

Most of them including non paid so called pundit such as Mark Goldbridge and Robbie AFTV predicted Forest to beat Chelsea even Forest performance in the past two months were not that good. While us in the last 12 EPL matches, won 8, drew 2, lost 2 scoring 16 goals and only conceded 5 goals. Glad the boys prove them wrong and it is time for them to show some respect to the only London club with UCL trophies in the cabinet.

when i saw this, i feel that we at least should challenge liverpool for the title.

the lost (their only home win) at ipswich really cost us. and then reverse fixture we only drew. so 5 points lost here. if we got 6 points from a team that just got promoted like ipswich we can get same point as arsenal (though lower goal different).

then we lost at home vs our neighbour which is fulham cost us another 3 points.

drew 2-2 vs bournemouth and 1-1 vs forest at home.

another 4 points lost from team we should beat comfortably at home. total 9 points lost. final points 69 points, plus another 9 points should be 78 points. still not enough to win it but comfortably sit at second place.

1. Positions Targeted

Primary focus: More attacking talent

Especially a right-footed left winger

Striker: Already signed one (Liam Delap), but another striker may still arrive

Centre-back: Open to signing, but only if the right opportunity arises

Goalkeeper: May buy, but only if a clear No.1 becomes available

None are yet guaranteed to be No.1 next season. Penders is considered too inexperienced.

2. Decision-Makers in Transfers

Chelsea’s sporting structure leads recruitment:

Paul Winstanley

Laurence Stewart

Joe Shields

Sam Jewell

Head coach has some input, but the final decisions rest with this team.

3. Transfer Targets

Attackers/Wingers:

Interested in:

- Hugo Ekitike (Eintracht Frankfurt)

Interest remains despite signing Delap

Club unwilling to pay €100m valuation

- Jamie Gittens (Borussia Dortmund)

- Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United)

Rodrygo (Real Madrid): Not under consideration

Centre-backs:

- Interested in Dean Huijsen (interest shown before he chose Real Madrid)

- Jarrad Branthwaite (Everton): Not being considered right now

4. Expected Outgoings (Sales)

Players who were out on loan:

Raheem Sterling

Ben Chilwell

Carney Chukwuemeka

Armando Broja

Kepa Arrizabalaga

Renato Veiga

Axel Disasi

Joao Felix: Also a possible departure

Others likely to be sold:

Lesley Ugochukwu: well-liked, but midfield is crowded; expected to draw interest

Alfie Gilchrist (loan at Sheffield United): Expected to explore options

Leo Castledine (academy graduate): Pursuing a move elsewhere

Confirmed Exit:

Christopher Nkunku: Reportedly unhappy at Chelsea since November

Uncertain Futures:

Trevoh Chalobah

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

One of the goalkeepers (excluding Penders)

5. Players Likely to Go Out on Loan

Kendry Paez (Ecuador international) → Strasbourg

Mathis Amougou (from Saint-Etienne, £12.5m) → Strasbourg

Marc Guiu (striker)

Aaron Anselmino (defender)

Mike Penders (goalkeeper)

David Datro Fofana (returning from injury; former Goztepe loanee)

6. Confirmed New Signings

Liam Delap (from Ipswich Town) — £30m

Estevao Willian (Brazilian, from Palmeiras) — €34m

Dario Essugo (Sporting CP midfielder) — £18.5m

Mamadou Sarr (centre-back, from Strasbourg) — €14m

Mike Penders (GK, from Genk) — joining officially now

7. Returning from Loan & Joining Senior Squad

Andrey Santos (midfielder) — impressed at Strasbourg

8. Budget and Financial Position

No PSR (Profit and Sustainability Rules) concerns

Boosted by: Champions League qualification & Club World Cup revenue - up to £97m ($131m) possible this summer

i dont rate maignan.

he is not good at shot stopping which is a basic trait for a gk.

i prefer petrovic and sanchez and his deputy.

petrovic stat at strasbourg much better than both of sanchez and maignan.

So Luis Enrique, Ligue 1 is farmer's league or not? We are Chelsea FC, Pride of London, not joining this CWC just for the vibe, we want to win it!
