I am looking to install EV charging for my house landed. Thinking of buying from China, and get local installer to install. My house is 3 phase, and looking far type 2 charger about 11kw.

If any installer here, can contact me as I afraid of buying but end up cannot install because of incompatibility. Or if anyone has experience installing home charger then i am all ears. The car dealer offers 9k for the charger and installation. I am looking for a cheaper solution.

Sounds expensive. I was told 1.3k for installation (Tesla wall charger)

Many factors will affect pricing. Surface mount? Concealed wiring? Painting? Distance from DB? Complexity of wire run? I can tell you single phase 6 mm² Mega cable surface mounted conduit (rented house) with new 2 pole MCB about 8 m run was just a hair under RM 1k in PJ
