Hi,

I would like to ask.

Let say if I have a Master qualification. I applied for a job that required Degree as the highest qualification to apply. Is it okay for me to remove Master qualification on my resume?

Same goes to people that have Degree, but they applied a job that required Diploma. Is it okay for them not to include Degree qualification on their resume?

Thank you smile.gif

you may risk insecure hiring managers throwing your resume in the rubbish bin. Anyhow do you want to work with insecure managers?

Caution, if you remove it from your application form, don’t forget to delete it from your LinkedIn too. Pulverised all mention of it on your digital footprint.

Why need to delete from LinkedIn? its a crime for not wanting to flaunt academic qualifications when applying for a job? Its a smart thing to not let people think you are over qualified. Hiring managers seeing the masters degree and start thinking how long will this dude stay here until he gets a teaching role for example.

I did not put my highest qualification during job application. I did update my employee data in the company portal. no one come and fire my ass also? I dont think my boss even know or care what my highest academic qualification is.
