One false move and he walks into a short hook or uppercut. Tyson too old and slow to cut the ring off, but he isn't too slow to knock you out if you're in range

You can tell by his lack of footwork by round 2. Despite Tyson's upper body weave, his legs just aren't there help catch Paul, and so he got rocked by Paul's reach.

Tyson's corner probably hoped Paul to be as aggressive as his trash talk and so get into Tyson's range all by himself, but Paul didn't go according to their plan.
