All these problem start when government allow people to drive fast, speeding on highway. lorry driver is a car driver too. when they drive their personal car, they drive like mad on highway due to government allow them to go faster.

So, when these folks go to works and drive lorry, government expect them to cruise only 80kmh?. no way bruh. its a habit. people habit drive fast, they will drive fast, regardless of medium of transport.

If government serious to reduce heavy vehicle accident due to over speedlimit, then they need to implement to normal vehicle also. if not, it will not works. again, lorry driver is a car driver too. and bad habit die hard.

You see 1 post here say to cap lorries to 30kph. Then later complain why every where no stock for everything when lorries cannot jalan any road with incline.

OK tbf an MCA transport minister did implement a black box thingy & a light that would light up whenever a heavy vehicle speeds. The black box records the speed that vehicle traveled & available to authorities whenever requested.

But guess what? Lorry operators beh song protested & eventually this was scraped. That’s what happened i think during the 80s i think correct me if im wrong

That why gov have to revise law, punish death sentence to all heavy vehicles driver if who over speed limit or any violation to the road law.
