QUOTE(angelgurl_nee @ Apr 7 2008, 10:44 PM) desmond.... hahahhaha i think my Seven is just entirely special... she'll eat anything i give her but she never ask from my hands!if your puppy does not want to eat it and ntg seems wrong... i think its time to try the starvation method.... shih tzus are picky eaters...plz remember this... if u start feeding them cucumbers or anything else everytime during their usual meal time...be prepared to feed them this recipe all thier life from then on... adding special treats to their meal is ok once in a while but not all the time... and its not exactly cause lack of grooming so get blind de... because shih tzus eyes are bigger compared to other dogs... so they are more sensitive...like more prone to dust all those... it just means u hv to clean it more often and try to not let any fur continuously poke into their eyes... to not let any fur go into their eyes...u can either continuously cut the fur around the eyes area short..or u can let the fur around the face area grow long jus like a show dog...but letting it grow long would require much more combing...because shih tzus have double coat... basically she just eats anything i put in her bowl, other than that are just the treats. |

QUOTE(sinv @ Apr 9 2008, 06:09 PM) what surgery Seven undergo?? Seven lost an eye when she was only 3 weeks old, even before she could see. she pierced her own right eyeball.Seven looks so adorable. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « but she could not have the eyeball removal surgery coz the vet worried that she might die of the Anaesthetics. so we gambled and waited another week that she might grow strong, and the gamble actually paid off. so here she is, lively playful and healthy =D QUOTE(joanalooidog @ Apr 9 2008, 05:23 PM) you think that was cute???now see this!! hahahaha she is so photogenic!!! ![]() the little red shirt actually belongs to Winnie the Pooh which she chews... but then... she seems to like the shirt so.... kekeke This post has been edited by MasterAlvin: Apr 10 2008, 02:46 AM |

Seven can see perfectly fine now.
Earlier it was bad though, coz her right side FOV is none, so she always bang into something on the right side, see also sakit hati. the table and chairs lar.... and wall lar... when she turn right or simply bang stuffs right side due to bad judgement... |

Seven had an eye infection when she was 3 weeks old... we went to the vet that morning and came back... the wet put some cream into her infected eye before we go home... but no cone... then after we get home... i put her down to make her milk... and i heard her cry even before i made it out of my bedroom door...
she pierced her own eye maybe due to itchiness... the eyeball pierced and the lens also fell out.. the sight was unbearable... then we rush her to the animal hospital at Jalan Sentul... then from there on you know liao... |

she already looks chubby chubby liao... when she excited and she does the bunny hop, all of us will laugh!
so cute! hahaha... but yeah... she seems to be very very small for her age. normally a 8 weeks old shih-tzu weights about 2-3kg, and today Seven only weights 1.08KG! the doctor was like OMFG how can this be. QUOTE(angelgurl_nee @ Apr 11 2008, 12:24 PM) oh my goshhh... bah... even doctor cant answer the question... some friends told me to sue the first doctor that treated her eye and forgot to give her a cone... but i thought it wouldnt help anything...Seven is such a pity lil gurl.... thanks goodness its fixed now though... what infection could she get by 3 weeks old im wondering?? but Seven is very strong, all vets predicted she might die coz puppies are very vulnerable to stress, and losing an eye is considered a major stress, but she actually lives through it, eating well and sleeping well. and she sure excercises a lot since she follows every single pair of moving legs around the house when she's awake. i'm no doctor but Seven looks very very energetic to me. lol... her hyper activeness is already keeping me on my toes.
i tell her not to chew something, she will listen. but when she dun see me, she will curi curi chew... i need to catch her curi curi chew and stop her only she will stop, but not for good. sometimes she will still try try, try try, if no one stops her, then she starts chewing the object again. for example. the door stopper in my room... her favourite! |
