Just got this in the mail, couldn't find a topic so I thought I'd create one and see if anyone else got the game.
After waiting so long, my Collector's Edition finally came today and I'm enjoying it so far. The Hard Boiled transfer looks decent enough, but I'm not that much of an HD aficionado to be able to give any deeper insight. Weird thing is that the audio sync seems off at times, like a split-second delay between character lip-movements and dialog. This is for the Cantonese audio track, I didn't bother watching it in English (why on earth would anyone?!
)Sub-titles are kinda small (and sometimes completely wrong! But that's more of a 'lost in translation' sorta deal...Funny part was when Chow Yun Fatt's character tells Tony Leung "Mou hui ah!/Don't go in!" the subs read "BULLS#!T!" Wtf.)
Gameplay: If you enjoyed the demo, well then it's more of the same with the full game (which is a good thing if you enjoyed it.) Nothing groundbreaking or anything, but a decent enough mindless-action game that should entertain for a while. Framerate drops here and there, but nothing too major yet (I've only made it to the second level).
Online: Haven't touched it yet.
