Hi sifus, can I transfer NCD from one car to another?
Both cars already under my name.
Car A: 55% Car B: 25%
I am planning to sell off Car A, questions:
1) Can I transfer NCD from [Car A] to [Car B]? 2) If yes, do I transfer NCD first or sell Car A first? 3) Any agents who can help on this?

Yes you can transfer the NCD if both cars under your name. If you do not plan to buy a new car, then you can transfer the NCD first before selling.
FYI NCD will be reversed if unused after one year.

NCD follows your insurance policy, not car registration number. It is under your name, not the car. So, there is no transfer involve actually

Tell the insurer that you want to continue your NCD on this new car. They just need your old car registration number. That''s all. They will do the rest for you. No need any document. Note that NCD is from car to car. Cannot from motor to car Oopps! One more thing. You do not need to wait your old insurance to expire too. You can claim the balance from your previous insurer.
