The best is to buy directly at honey farm and the best of the best is to see them directly taken out the honey from the hive. But this is unfiltered honey. Please do not give to children < 2 years old. In Malaysia usually in kampung2, this will be madu kelulut or stingless bee honey. Not the best for toast. haha.
But for normal consumers like us, next best bet is manuka honey directly imported from new zealand. Since New Zealand has strict regulations and most of their exported honey are tested (in MGO and UMF value). This is where i got my honey. Since i'm using it on toast, i bought the lowest MGO one. quite affordable.
Please avoid cheap supermarket one. most if not all are fake or adulterated since our (china & usa too) regulation on labeling honey are quite lax.
Recommend genuine raw honey.
