Problem with YES is their coverage spotty.
Example KL some spots are deadspot.

Was curious if umobile network has improved and wanted to try with a prepaid. But all their prepaid data plans have speed caps, haiya.

Hotlink Sabah plan rm18 (60GB 5g/4g) still the cheapest for me now.

You can always try U Mobile's Daily or Weekly add-ons for uncapped 4G/5G speed.

I was using digi prepaid (promo rm25 - 10 for the celcomdigi 25 plan) and umobile rm38 120GB...

But digi promo only last for 6 months

Now i have to change um postpaid 38 to prepaid 40 to get 12mbps 200GB FUP.

So far normal use no diff from uncapped 38, just FYI..

Is the coverage good in Sarawak for U Mobile? Many blind spots?

If you are in Sabah most of the time, why not add on U Borneo RM15, 2000GB (5G, Borneo) + 110GB (4G, Borneo) + 10GB (West Malaysia). High speed.

I tested in Padungan, Tabuan Jaya, Stampin, Stutong areas, equally good as my Maxis and Digi lines.
Buy RM10 Sim pack at 7-eleven, test it. 1GB, 5 days validity, RM6 credit. Then top up RM10, buy U Borneo at RM15 (for 30 days)

Do you get 5G connectivity in all those places? Btw in order to get 5G connection, do you need to subscribe to the Borneo plan only 5G will become accessible to you? If the default 1 day some free GB data given for you cant see 5G despite using 5g device does it mean this place only have 4g or as that Borneo plan or other plans must be active to see their 5g?

I didn't use 5G in the past few months. I only use 4G data.
