You can be billed with alot of purchases like game credits by giving out OTP.
The caller id you see can be spoofed easily, it is a 90s tech already can achieve that …
Exactly and they are verified authentic real customer service. Make us guess they are corrupted.
Anyway, I asked back "isn't public not supposed to give out OTP in any circumstances"
They replied that they can verify me with alternative method which is ... payment method, last bill amount etc.

Depends how they ask for it I guess. From my experience they will send OTP to confirm then pass me through an automated system to verify my OTP and I will need to key in manually on my phone. After confirmation only they will route back my call to the CS. If they back verbally then I won’t give. So sus.
What kind of automated system. Key in OTP by keypad?
