I asked the electrician to double check the wiring, and he said there is nothing wrong.

Why is my Schneider doorbell warm to the touch?

I just installed a Schneider doorbell and it's working fine, but somehow I can feel the doorbell is slightly warm.

current leakage, those doorbell run on electromagnet, small leakage wont trigger a "ding" but the magnet will run and feel warm my doorbell fried after the outdoor switch was jammed due to the weather and postman pressed it and left it on the "closed" position [switch didnt spring back] hence check again for leakage at the doorbell, if nobody press the switch, it should no have current going thru the electromagnet This post has been edited by hightechgadgets8: Nov 9 2024, 12:49 PM lj0000 liked this post
