Recently i noticed that programmers' pay is really limited, after i have gone thru a few final interviews, and ended up with no success with the reason of salary, and i did not even mark up my salary expectation based on my current one. A programmer with around 10 years experience probably just got around 13k max. anything above 13k is difficult. What you guys think?

Huh? Programmers can easily go over that range. Depends on what kind of programmers are you and how good you are.
