Hello guys, I’ve been looking into and thinking of buying a cordless vacuum cleaner! Looking for reviews of any home owners that own one!

Looking at brands such as Dyson, LG and Samsung!

Your insights will be really helpful in my decision purchasing one! Thanks all!

Something to consider for Cordless is

1. Good performance and long battery life will be heavier

2. Light weight will be easy to maneuver especially women, but sacrifice on power and battery life.

3. Filtration performance so far Dyson is among the best, many China brand suffer leakage in smoke test which means you are more likely scattering fine dust particles that you have picked up although those are more likely very small particles

4. Despite Dyson being great in ergonomic, maneuvering, filtering but most of its parts cannot be taken apart for washing unlike the China one usually can take off most of the stuff in the canister for washing, that's where your Dyson likely to have foul smell.

I had 2 from Samsung and 1 from Hitachi.

1 of the Samsung is their lowest end one which I bought because my wife wants to vacuum our room for hair mostly. When I try using it for car and living room, find it underpower and doesn't offer much help. Had to take out the battery to charge.

The other one is a Jet 60 or 70 (cant remember). Much stronger suction and also battery life. A bit bigger than the cheap one and kinda heavy when wanna use it portable.

Then I also bought a showroom unit of Hitachi which is similar to the cheaper Samsung model that I had but had much stronger suction which offer decent vacuum for my living room and also can change to portable mode to vacuum hair on staircase and sofa.

I also tried Dyson before since my mom bought one (not sure of the model) but the suction is next level and also quite light compared to Jet60. The greenlight shows where the dusts and hair are very clearly. It's kinda pricy though.

I own multiple Samsung cordless vacuum it’s better than others except for Dyson (way too expensive). Go for quality vacuum from Samsung you won’t regret

Try to avoid Dyson V12. Recently having problem with intermittent power off. Online google and apparently this is well known problem for V12

Here’s an update on my Dyson V12. I sent it to the Service Center at TTDI last Saturday.

Yesterday, I called Dyson to ask when I could get the unit back, and to my surprise, they said 2025. Seriously?

Paying a premium price but receiving terrible service. ranting.gif ranting.gif

Where can i escalate this matter?

Using Corvan K18 pro, so far very satisfied with it

The suction quite powerful and the mop head attachment is decent at light mopping (my floor SPC type, so cannot use too wet mop), tahan quite long like 45mins+ use on full charge

Not-so-good is that can tell where they cut costs to keep it "value friendly" with the strong motor & good battery life, like the attachments are plastic and feels not so "premium", but strong and does the job well enough.

Assuming you're in Klang Valley, HomePro store sometimes have but for best test, have to go to Corvan experience store. Unfortunately they only have one, which is in Atria Mall (PJ).

They sometimes go to home goods convention but need to follow their FB to keep track

i am using k9 luxe (upgraded version from k9 pro) - very good. suction is at 201 AW (at max speed but drains battery really fast of course). at medium it does the job well enough - i prefer not to use auto as it keeps ramping up and down depending on the dirt it encounters and i noticed it goes to max quite often, and in turn, drains battery very fast.

Big plus is battery is replaceable but no stock at the moment sadly. Battery charges about 4 hours from 0%. Another BIG plus is there's an exact battery percentage indicator where other vacuums at that price range dont have which is a great plus as you wont get caught off guard thinking "eh habis battery already ah? aiya..." and you can easily prioritize which areas in your house to clean.

Got it for RM 500 only (lazada) with lots of discounts and coins usage on 3.3 sales..so its bloody worth compared to my 3 year old (and battery kaput) mi vacuum cleaner light that i bought 3-4 years ago for about RM 300. This k9 luxe feels more "atas" plus it has LED lights at the motorized head!

I feel we should consider supporting Malaysian made products as when I read review of Dyson v8 which was about 1K i feel that thing is overpriced and lots of complaints on the battery dead on arrival, etc.
