So they are quite reliable and durable for their price point ? Saw one on offer 50 inch for 1.3k, seems like their prices is very reasonable and affordable.

Bought 43" TCL UHD 4k Android Google TV around RM900 last month , best spec if compare to same range UHD 4k 43" like Xiaomi/other brand gv less RAM and cost more . Like the TV so far .

If you’re not hardcore user should be enough for the price you paid. My cousin is using this brand currently it’s works very well

Well i was expecting to change it after 2-3 years but it would seem it will last at least 7 years until the lcd panel defect become unbearable.

After 5 years the 4 corners got some slight black vignette but not tat obvious though.

Thanks everyone for the valuable feedback, will most likely be leaning into TCL, will do further research on which model to get as I'm on a budget of 1-2K. Thanks very much !

I'm also looking for a cheap Chinese TV.

Afaik, hisense offers 3-year-warranty vs TCL's 2 years.

hisense mostly use ADS(IPS) panel for their lower size tv, avoid if possible
65 and above most likely VA panel.

also those vidaa os, where got people prefer those.
