My understanding is that PDRM’s stance has always been “pay less if you pay early”. So rather than waiting for the saman to balloon up to RM300, just pay immediately the saman is reflected in MyBayar PDRM, which typically takes 1 to 2 days to be reflected in the system when the saman is issued.
