Wong Zi Wah movie can sell coz Hongkie want movie with pure local and no CCP influence as much as possible andy lau, louis and even Lau Ching Wan movie added in elements from CCP so they are strongly against it Guilty Of Conscience, Anita, Walled In and most Wong Zi Wah movie was blockbuster in HK coz Hongkie think they should support local movies skylinelover, MR_alien, and 1 other liked this post

trying to think of movies that is align with the thread title.
to recall back, there are several worthy hk films to be watched in cinemas. thinking back, it's also easy to say the classics are absolute classics. let's take a trip down memory lanes: some of the aces go places movies almost all stephen chow movies the hey days of jackie chan movies storm rider 1 cold war 1 and 2 (would have hoped that part 3 would come) C'est la vie, mon chéri lost in time spl and paradox the white storm 1 the counterfeiter the eye ip man series some of the jet li movies front page detective dee a battle of wits running out of time red cliff 1 & 2 this is not what i expected i also think a guilty conscience is a good movie but may not be suited for cinema. |
