I oso sometimes get these off hours work request but oni if really critical. But I don mind going la bcos my superiors are mostly nice folks.

She asking politely whether he can come into office or not only mahh. Maybe really got something urgent need his input, or maybe the big boss ask her to ask leh. She's just doing her job to ask. Cannot come in then just say cannot lo. Apa susah ?

sometimes in weekends / holidays.. the last thing a person wanted to do is to layan TLDR text by "favor asker" (not just work related) to improve the success rate.

The way his superior ask him whether he can come to work on his day off is already very nice and respectful.

when you are angry, don't type anything. Let mind cool down a bit, take a shower, play videogame, watch youtube, chit chat with friend...

when you are calmer, baru you reply. will avoid a lot of unnecessary human conflict in life.
