QUOTE(Barricade @ Nov 29 2024, 02:30 PM) Education Customers’ Audit RightsApple routinely audits the purchases of customers at the Apple Store to ensure that only eligible purchasers have ordered and that all purchase conditions have been observed. Should an audit disclose after delivery (or should Apple otherwise discover) that you were not an eligible purchaser at the time you placed your order or that you have not observed all of the conditions applicable to your purchase, you authorise Apple: - If you placed your order by credit card, to charge to your credit card the difference between the amount you paid for the delivered goods and the price that Apple charged the general public for the same goods at the Apple Store, in effect on the date that you placed your order; and - If you paid by a means other than credit card, to (a) invoice you for the difference between the amount that you paid for the delivered goods and the price that Apple charged the general public for the same goods at the Apple Store, payable in fifteen days from the date of the invoice, and (b), should you fail to pay the invoice when due, institute legal action against you in a court of competent jurisdiction, with the prevailing party entitled to attorneys’ fees. Should Apple not offer to the general public the specific products that you purchased at the Apple Store, your credit card will be charged or you will be invoiced the difference between the amount you paid for the delivered goods and the price that Apple charged the general public for the closest equivalent goods at the Apple Store, in effect on the date that you placed your order. But I think chances of getting audit is low la. They just put the condition out only. In US, you can buy edu price without any verification at all. Since they can be so relax on this, don't think they really will go all out to check it after. This post has been edited by yvliew: Nov 29 2024, 02:40 PM

Just ordered one with 10gbps ethernet. I upgrade mini every 10 year or so (my current mini is 2012), thought I might need the speed in the future.

QUOTE(shyan90's @ Nov 29 2024, 02:22 PM) No point to upgrade like this also...its not a phone anyway..even phone you also no upgrade every year. Well no need upgrade every year, every 2-3 years also good enough. M1 was 2020, M2 2023, they skip M3 and M4 was 2024. So upgrade every 2 years is sweet spot. So sure you prefer spend RM4000 (upgrade ram/storage) all in one go now and keep 5 years that's up to you. Personally I rather spend RM2000 today for base model, and 2 years time upgrade again the next base model at RM2000.

This isn't Mac mini, but just thought to share update that the MBP versions status change is quite fast, now is preparing to ship. Wonder if they will ship immediately if they have stock, or they strictly follow their delivery/release date schedule

Besides, SG already got stock. not surprise unit come from there Usually with no problems, it'll take around 3 days to deliver. If they ship it out today, it is possible to deliver by Monday or latest Tuesday. But seeing it's so late now, I think they will only ship it out on Monday, so you are right if it's delivered as schedule on 4/12 Updated: They have shipped it out, already picked up by Gdex. That is fast... delivery date also changed from 4/12 to 3/12. This post has been edited by Lego Warfare: Nov 29 2024, 06:14 PM

Then launch m2 mac mini 2499 and edu 2079. So I thought I can still sell my M1 at decent price and only add 100-200 to get the M2. So I upgraded to M2 again. Same thing happened again when M4 launch… I think as long as the upgrade price not too much, for me under RM400. I think ok to upgrade la.. M2 to M4 is quite significant upgrade.
