Hi all, trying my luck here as my water purifier is leaking when idle. It's a Xiaomi MR432 under the counter model and been owning it without any issues for the past 4 years. The only thing I have done to the machine in the past month is changing the composite and RO filters. I tried resitting the filters but to no avail, the water is still leaking from the RO side.
Does anyone else have experience with this machine and know a shop who services it? I'm not sure how to troubleshooting here are some pics of the purifier and the RO filter Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(lj0000 @ Oct 27 2024, 11:45 AM) https://www.douyin.com/shipin/7308316001295288335 Thank you for the video! I followed it step-by-step and found this part to be leaking.need to check which part leak. could be simple o-ring As you can from the video is dripping on idle. It's rather puzzling because I find: - all o-rings are in good shape. The exact size and thickness is hard to find even if I want to replace it - the one part that is broken is this clamp but I don't think it's the issue, also can't find the replacement (not even sure I'm calling it correctly Is there any specialists that repair or service water purifier? Lifesaver I'm trying to find it on shopee what is it called exactly?you can buy generic one remember to put back the buckle ![]() ![]() I forgot to attached the video so here's the leak. However when I applied pressure to it the water leaks went somewhere else like the bottom of the water filter so could this be a water pressure issue? I tried to close my tap and lil but to no avail. |

QUOTE(lj0000 @ Nov 18 2024, 02:19 PM) cant see where the leak come from. I have finally fixed it! This wheel base thing was really the culprit. From my untrained eyes I don't see anything wrong with it, no cracks whatsoever. The only thing I suspect is the larger washer (not in the pictures) that rest inside the casing which seems flatten.use hairdryer to blow dry the place then apply water pressure bit by bit to see where it came from. components https://shopee.com.my/Water-Filter-Fitting-...5f-6b7eaf5c0d68 in theory you can diy the whole set with own components Less than rm40 to fix and 3 weeks of headache, not bad. Thanks for the link to the video I won't have known how to take it apart! lj0000 liked this post
