I’ve been browsing the forum and doing some suit shopping. I noticed that a tailor-made pure wool suit can easily cost upwards of RM2,500.

In comparison, ready-made suits from Sacoor Brothers are around RM900 for a two-piece, though the size options are pretty limited. I also found some suits on Taobao for about RM1,000. These Taobao options offer a wider range of sizes and colors and come as a three-piece set. Both options use Super 130 wool.

Alternatively, I’m considering just saving some money and going to a place like Smart Master, since I’ll only be wearing the suit 8-10 times a year. Personally, I think spending more than 1% of my annual salary on clothes is a bit excessive.

So, what do you think—are the Taobao suits worth it?

Since I can't post the link yet, you can search for 【澳嘉】高端纯羊毛西服套装男商务正装新郎结婚礼服外套男士西装 on Taobao.

Just go to some bundle stores or JJJ.

U may find one for RM20-40. Mostly used of cos.

But u might also find a brand new one if u're lucky.

don't think it's worth it unless you can try the fitting beforehand.

if you want off the shelve, go for Sacoor Brothers as they offer free alteration to fit it on your body. managed to chop one years ago made with Ermenegildo Zegna wool fabrics.
