TS, it is time for Malaysians to move forward and forget about cheap ways. I applause the government take initiative to implement this new car plates and hopefully it can standardize all the car plate and improve the overall car plate system. especially on the motorbike.

QUOTE(noien @ Oct 25 2024, 01:47 PM) Loke happy now . Then why can't get better shit than our RFID too ? Nothing special about SB RFID. It is using active transponder which require the RFID unit in car transmit the signal. Our RFID is passive RFID, which is much cheaper for consumer to use.RFID is pure shit. Learn from SG please Actually the passive RFID like in Malaysia can be fast and can use multi-lane as well but I guess the PLUS do not want to risk having people just drive through without having RFID. People can use fake number thus hard to track the car. Once we implement system that is more integrated into JPJ and other law relevant department, ths multi-lane will be implemented. We can have more power to RFID antenna at toll to capture RFID of all cars that pass through. gobiomani liked this post

QUOTE(noien @ Oct 25 2024, 01:47 PM) Loke happy now . Then why can't get better shit than our RFID too ? The reason it is shit now is because of the low adoption rate, and those cry babies that whine when more RFID lanes were added and SmartTag lanes were removed. These cry babies also oppose the monopolies of TnG yada yada and now the toll operators have to add in lane for MyDebit as well. RFID is pure shit. Learn from SG please The RFID Transmitter at the toll booth cannot sends out signal that is too strong otherwise cars with RFID who decides to pay with MyDebit that day will be double charged. If we want to learn from SG, then we should all onboard RFID, remove the gantry. Toll operators only need to install RFID transmitter + Lincense Plate Recognition system. However, this is will have another issue. What if the car passing through the tolls do not have enough credit in their TnG eWallet (or whatever wallet/system the government decides to use). Will they be issued a bill after that? How many will pay, knowing Malaysian even wait for discounts for traffic summonses. So, easy to just tokok here say learn from SG, when our people mindset is like shit. version46 liked this post

if gov open for 2nd company to produce this EV plate, anyone willing to invest RM 10mil and sell at RM98?
You need to produce 102,040 set to break even. Some reference: Total industry volume of 76,075 vehicles registered in Malaysia In total, 14,321 EVs have been registered between January to August 2024. |

QUOTE(DarkNite @ Oct 25 2024, 02:15 PM) I hope JPJ & MOT doesn't implement this. The current standard number plates rules are OK (like in the MT09 picture) but... ...need law enforcement to catch those who are using illegal number plates / number plate fancy. Especially those big bikers who are using tail tidy and don't use the specified number plates. BTW, just to share feedback comparison of number plates from Indonesian journalist.
