I believe this is just IP block, it has been a thing since quite long ago (MCO time)

TM don't do IP block anymore.
No problem for me after some quick testing.

Mind posting affected website?

Works OK for me.
They are using Cloudflare so it is not possible to IP block.

Can you double check on your PC or whatever device what DNS server you are actually using? I suspect you didn't configure them properly.

You can double check if your PC is actually using the DNS server by running:
ipconfig /all

Maxis only use TM infra for the fibre. Anything else is not managed by TM.

Your ipv6 DNS could be TM dns and not cloudflare if you did not set the dns thru router. So the site is blocked.

Disabling IPv6 is the wrong way to solve the problem.
Set DNS for IPv6 instead:
2606:4700:4700::1111
2606:4700:4700::1001

You should also move to DoH instead of using plaintext DNS.
https://developers.cloudflare.com/1.1.1.1/e...dns-over-https/

There's no such thing as suddenly x jln. Something must have changed. The common one is the website added an AAAA record.

Yes, classic problem, most old tutorial on Internet only told you change IPv4 DNS only, while 40% already moved to IPv6(according to Google la), and latest tech is trying on DNS over QUIC. doh.gif

Yup I did set the DNS for both IPv4 and IPv6, using DoH too, for a very long time d, everything was smooth until recently got problem, in the end I just disable the IPv6 then everything works, everyone is happy now.

I will wait for a week and try it again, see if they fixed the problem or not.

Do Maxis implement IP block?
