Well not sure how to help but can try check under power& battery
I remember last time ac on/battery mode both have their own configuration

occasionally stock software like the brand itself punya configuration also causing all this annoying thing.

Had this problem with a ThinkPad T450 before with a third party screen. The BIOS was locked to only Lenovo approved screens. If model not listed, Windows cannot control it.

My PC has Nvidia GT740 graphics card and it cannot be adjusted inside windows too. The driver is not recognized by windows to adjust brightness because it is tied to HDR. My card does not have this function.

On old laptop the brightness slider does not work too. But the keyboard brightness adjustment works.

Cannot because the BIOS is not compatible with your panel. Need to flash a different BIOS or hack the panel firmware to match. Both can kill the laptop if not done carefully.

There is funny thing on my HP desktop, keyboard come with pc got button adjust brightness, ofcourse press it does not adjust, windows just show that slider actually does nothing

Confirm boleh. Got few criteria needs to be filled. The graphics chip must be compatible with HDR windows 10 or 11. Must run HDMI or dp. Vga cannot.
