Dear fellow sifus

During renovation I am planning to change gas hob to induction hob, requiring my electrician to pull a new wiring from MCB to my kitchen
As I am swamped with my own work that I have no time to check the renovation process at on-site regularly, today I found out something that shook me up

Instead of going below the horizontal beam, the electrician drilled a small hole and let the wiring pass through it
Does any sifus know whether I should just proceed with it or re-route the wiring and patch the hole up (unknowingly whether the rebars within has been damaged?)
