Been a few months. Wondering how TS is doing in his persuits (pun intended)

Lets face it,

Motorsports is expensive. It's like really expensive and topped up to a whole other level. Even at amateur club level racing.

If you are really keen, just keep doing what you are doing. Attend track days. Practice. Get your own car. Learn to work on it. Keep it as a hobby that you would enjoy for some time to come.

I'm an ex-instructor myself and have done some club racing. And I can tell you. Even if you think you are talented, you are only scratching the surface. There are a lot of fast guys around. Those that started much younger. More driven. Less commitments. Bigger pockets to back them up. Just having aspirations of being a good driver isn't enough. It wont make you go pro.

The intention of this post is not to discourage TS. But I have been there a long while back. If there is interest, all is not lost. You can still be a gentleman's racer later in life if your skills finally matches your talent and have money (or someone) to back you up.

Just not now.
