My apartment bathroom wall tiles has popped out.
The contractor I engaged said I need to change all the bathroom tiles as it involved the lowest tiles which will affect the waterproofing if he has to change the tiles.
He is charging me rm8600 to retile the whole bathroom with waterproofing and 1 year warranty.
The alternative is to change just the 3 x 7 tiles which is involved. But he said he will charge rm3000 with no warranty.

Can I ask is it compulsory to change all the tiles or just change the involved tiles is sufficient?
And is the price of rm3000 to change the 21 tiles, remove and reinstall the shower fixture with non warrantied water proofing too expensive? What is the rough price estimate? Any contractor to recommend in Selayang side?

I think that's a bit much.

I had my tiles done for 4 bathroom and other works for 9k. Other works including installation of lights, fans and cementing front and back. Contractor from Gombak, work done in Nilai.

4 bathroom and other works for 9k? When did you do your Reno?
That’s extremely cheap.
Did they do waterproofing and water ponding test?
How is the workmanship?
