All windows - RM3300 with free doorcup ppf only

V-Kool Elite
All windows RM4600
Front windscreen V-kool elite | Others sungard - RM1900
Font windscreen and sides - V-kool elite - RM2200, others no tinted

My farthers BMW e90 using original 3M tint, from 2010 until now still no bubble, only some color fading. More than 14 years no bubble in between the tint, really the adhesive used by 3M tint hebat.

vkool for me lasted 5 years or so, then have bubble here and there. nothing drastic that blocks view but a bit annoyed since paid premium price compared to llumar.

i felt llumar quality is there based on personal experience.

Rhinepro's Black Beauty series for me so far so good. Best bang for bucks compared to the other so called 'premium' brands.

Thanks all for your contributions!

I think I might opt for 3M crystalline.

But the shop told me that I need to left my car there for 2 days, is it something normal or something fishy?

It’s the only official dealer in my area though.

I would also vouch for 3M.

Generally 3M products are priced slightly higher than average, but their quality is generally good and durable. Not just for vehicle products, but same goes for their filters and cleaners etc.

Whereas for leaving the car at shop for 2 days, just need to see whether really alot of cars doing tint there or otherwise such as glue need longer time to stick / QC etc etc.

Then to be on the safe side, do check your parts to see if any has been replaced (take a pic of your engine bay / undercarriage) if you really feel something is off.

Prices have increased a lot it seems. I did 3M Crystalline with Scotshield (security tint) for front two windows for my City in 2018 for RM2700 iirc.

No regret, very clear vision (no distortion on the front windscreen) and really good heat rejection. The downside is Smart Tag doesn't work well but condo access card works normally.

Thanks all for helping! I have installed 3m crystalline at one of the authorised installer but I didn’t receive the e-warranty as claimed, paid 3.3k and now wondering whether I get a fake product though.

How soon did you guys got your e warranty through E-mail?

I got the email almost immediately after the installation.

Edit: it's easy to spot fake or real crystalline - spray water and you can see reddish hues on the water droplets.

I did get the hue and the hue is difference based on my tint VLT. Some has orange hue and some has some bluish tint. Not sure genuine or not.

My installer said the e-warranty need to wait HQ, meaning they have something fishy going on. I tried to contact HQ, they’re totally helpless. No pick up call, email no reply.
thankyou

I received mine within 12h, same day.

I did not try whether the hue is there or not though, as I received the email, should be legit, I thought.

After driving in the rain, just take a look at the water droplets on your windscreen, viewing from an angle.

I used 3M crystalline for both my cars thumbup.gif

But the price not that expensive, maybe now price increased a lot.
You got that quotation yourself or through salesman contact?

Btw, get at least VLT60 and below, VLT70 you might think 3M is useless.
