This is common in all digital camera. My LX-3 also has same problem. I think other camera brand also the same. Just don't point it at bright light. It is also not advisable to point your camera at bright light source for a long time, i.e. the sun. It will smoke your sensor.This post has been edited by Aurora: Jan 7 2009, 07:30 PM
