I have both insurance AIA and Prudential for my kids. In my opinion, Prudential is better.

How old are u? That premium looks cheap.

Even my son premium higher lel

FYI if u buy new policy got contestability 2 years. So u better continue laying existing card for atleast 2 year before cancel else may face claims rejected.

don't think there's any rebate. There's only Health Wallet, if no claims previous year, the premium amount gets added to this wallet, which you can use to pay for other things like health checkup, upgrade room, etc.
Me using AIA too.

Bro, honestly, Rm 158 to RM 222 is okay already

You didn't claim is good, means you are healthy and well.

You are missing the point of having a medical card.

As you age, your premium also gonna increase... depending on your age, you might have to pay more and also perhaps do a medical check up?

Not having to use it is a good thing what.
A blessing, in fact.

here if you want to complain more

Don't simply change insurance plan. All will naik harga eventually.

Insurance is to cover you financially. You don't want to claim. What you don't realise is even if you didnt claim, the service offered to you is, you have the peace of mind that you will be covered if you masuk hospital. So the service is provided.

Insurance is not charity. More ppl claim, the insurance company will need to pass the cost back to you.

iPhone price also going up. Why people don't stop buying iPhone ah?

AIA got the wallet thingy and AIA vitality which gives you cashback as they gamify their insurance experience for their policy holders which is a nice to have.

Only thing i hear is that AIA is very strict in claims which sometimes its at no fault of AIA or the policy holders but fault of the hospital/clinics.

Thus creating a frustration with policy holders when they cant sort their claims.

All insurance increase premium. See if you want to continue having to increase premium due to not performing funds or you want to take out the non performing funds from the equation. If you want to take out non performing find, then you can go via standalone route.

But the question is can you manage your own investment and use a portion of it to pay for your insurance?

Not everyone can do that.

You cannot run away from premium increases. Only way is DIY insurance. Self insured.

You can check if you have the option to downgrade your coverage.

Having said that does not mean you won't pay more. Just pay less than expected...

I think all insurance are the same just which one have a better service.

Anyway my issue was endowment. So every 5 years suppose to pay to my dad. Usually they issue check. Then they say no more chq and will direct debit.

1. Ask me to fill up form
2. Form so difficult to understand
3. Everytime email say will response in 5 working day. Imagine I ask what is this line for. They come back to me can I have your account no. And then respond to you in 5 days. Lots of back and forth
4. Finally went to the branch at shah alarm fill up the form. Even took a copy of certified true copy as proof.
5. 1 month later still not bank in yet. Email then 5 days again. Call their hotline also useless. (I recorded all my interection with them)

End up emailing Mr Ben Ho. Problem resolve in 3 days.

Wasted my time. So yes, this is my experience with AIA. Maybe others would have better but not me so I will not go with AIA ever.
