tank on ceiling should have overflow design.. impossible couldnt handle the load cause all calculation done & approved accordingly..

but based on ur request, yes it can be done through bypass.. inlet to water tank, bypass it and connect straight to the outlet of water tank.. something like make a U-TURN before reach to water tank.. u hire a plumber and they will know how to join it accordingly with their tool..
