I recently working on to checking why my head light not bright enough and after replace a new stator & rectifier I had some question for any rectifier expert.

Below is my current brand new WStandard rectifier and the battery charging output which is below the red wire working fine charging my battery around 14.5V+- but the wire above the battery charging wire which is the power output for many electrical component such as key switch or head light only output around 4-5v so why is that ??

Feel free to PM me for further private discussion if prefer. Thanks first

Bike is Kriss MR1. Pretty sure black is ground and the red is output, will confirm which one of the other 2 is from stator, my eye not working so good at night.

By the way I suspect my headlight still dim despite new rectifier & stator is because of wire grounding issue ..

if you suspect wire grounding issue, you can check resistance from battery terminal to headlight.

should be below 1-2 ohm.

But how to connect ?? I mean multimeter red to where and black to where ?? Any youtube video related to this ??

you can watch on how to measure the resistance here.

will need to put black probe on battery negative and headlight socket ground.

if unsure, take picture of the headlight socket.
