Sze Fei-Izzuddin's winning run nets over RM1 million in prize money

KUALA LUMPUR: Men's doubles Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani's remarkable run has not only earned them three World Tour titles, but also pushed their total prize money beyond RM1 million after their victory at the Arctic Open in Vantaa, Finland, on Sunday.

The winning purse of US$33,181 (RM142,000) in Finland brought their earnings from five tournaments to RM1.034 million since turning professional.

Prior to the Arctic Open, the world No. 8 had already accumulated RM892,000 (based on previous currency rates) from their performances in four earlier World Tour events: the Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and China Opens since August.

Their biggest payday came at the China Open, where they collected US$148,000 (RM622,000), followed by US$62,900 (RM264,000) from their Japan Open triumph.

Next, they will compete in the Super 750 Denmark Open, which offers US$62,900 (RM270,000) to the men's doubles champions.

Depends though what other sports is successful in malaysia like badminton?

Football is profitable cause of JDT, other than that?
