I have this problem with Shopee

I loan money from Shopee using Shopee loan

When I want to pay back my month installment

It has 2 option 1- online transfer , 2 - pay using Shopee pay

Then I thought can pay Shopee pay then I go top up

I top up using via credit card

Then when proceed the installment payment I notice it cannot be pay

Then I talk to this agent and she also don’t know anything just after that I figure out that if u top up via credit card it cannot pay for loans and stuff only buy online goods

And there’s no way to undo the money the money got stuck there forever , only can spend on online things


The system didn’t inform and i don’t know it like that

So how the option 2 supposed to work?

I thought Shopee pay has withdrawal function,can withdraw to your bank account

You can try doing a chargeback with the bank.

And only transferable balance can be used to pay the loan.

Two different payment but same from online transfer

They should barred the option using CC when making top up for Shopee pay for Shopee loan

Because, when you topup with CC, Shopee get charged 2-3% by the merchant/bank. If convert to bank transfer Shopee will rugi...

I think of one way maybe it is workable.

1) top up with top up with FPX (online banking) and choose your credit card to top up to shopeepay. (try RM10)
2) after successful top up then see whether this RM10 can be used to pay your loan.
3) then top up the rest to settle the loan.

From the shopeepay balance you want to transfer back to your bank, you may consider this option.
Don't blame me if it is not working.

Cash is collected from 7-11 or KK mart so these shops get a cut from the deposit. Debit card apparently has no cut and Shopee gets the whole amount.

IINM they did announce the limitations previously, i.e. cannot use credit cards to topup and pay

might as well reset ur life if so desperate until nid go shopee for loan.

I asked lazada cs, if I topup rm5k using cc and later I decided to withdraw it, can or not.

I just want to topup one day before sales so that on the sales time all smooth transaction on payment. However, I worried I change my mind.

The cs said, "yes can withdraw" but later I decided not to do it, I'm still doubtful that I actually can withdraw.

U can topup from debit card or online banking.

When go shopee loan page to make payment , There is an option to pay VIA Shopee PAY ( even can use Credit card also )

so thats where the confusing part , the option is there to let u make payment BUT its no avaiable to make that payment
