I bought my R4 without the MicroSD from them for RM190 non negotiable price. I even asked for only a RM5 discount, but he wouldn't give in. I wouldn't say they're the cheapest, but they are considered reasonable in the Penang state.

I dealt with the boss himself. Didn't wanna give any discount. But at least the took the courtesy to demonstrate on how to install the system files onto the MicroSD, change themes, engage the soft reset and operate the moonshell program.

Anywayz, anything regarding console prices in Penang, they're mostly all expensive....

To all owners of Nintendo Wii in Penang who bought your console from a game shop in Penang, which shop did you guys get it from?? I am looking to get a US set, but dunno which shop to go to for the best pricing. Already surveyed in GameTech and Game Galaxy in BJ and QBM but their prices are like RM100 more expensive compared to the sellers in KL. The Wii is for the wife but she does not condone to the whole shipping idea from KL. That's why I'm looking to get it locally. Appreciate your inputs.

Thanks for your input alex13. Anyway, I always try to avoid ACE in Prangin coz of a bad past experience I had with them previously. As for the game shops in QBM, one of them was very nice to explain the pricing and items included and also let my wife try out the Wii (eventhough I'm always in shorts and sandals) , which got her pestering me to get one for her (my preference still goes to PlayStation ). But his price is like RM200 more compared to the prices I got from the sellers in LYN. Gametech gave me a better price of a RM100 difference. Most probably get from Gametech coz I stay near BJ complex anyway.

Good news guys. One of the forummer is coming down to Penang next week and I'll be getting my Wii from him and save RM100. Haha... ... Anyway, the shops in QBM quoted me between RM1380 and RM1460 for a modded JP Wii full set with ori extra set of controllers and 10 games.

Getting mine from a forummer with the items as listed below:

i) JP Wii modded to English menu
ii) Extra set of controller & nunchuck
iii) 25 *ahem* games

all for RM1310 (and the wife is very happy with the price).

Went to Game Tech in BJ to enquire about updating my Wii and loading in some homebrew channels and also a pair of Wii Motion Plus. Was quoted RM100 for the software updating and RM200 for a pair of Wii Motion Plus and that is the best price oredi. Called and asked PS Zone, RM30 for software update and RM160 for Motion Plus. Saved RM110 by going to PS Zone. Somehow I feel Penang sellers wanna kill Wii owners in Penang with their ridiculous pricing.
