prices in penang n in the north still vary bout rm20-40 for new original Games compared to Klang Valley n johor prices... some sell Platinum series games as 1st issue prices as well....

which shop can do servicing,repairs,upgrade firmware n upgrade Harddisk

meaning they hv it sent to kl or other places?

my moded xbox.. i need to upgrade the firmware so that i do not hv to use boot disk animore.. in my place game shop dont know how to do it.. they just send to kl n mark up the price + shipping..

go to the shop u bought the controller... tell them NICELY its not the ori authentic controlller by sony... becoz it cannot function on current update3.50(They will probably deny/ say supplier lied to them as well)

if they already told you that they have 2 type of DS3 and 2 prices before you buy.. its not their fault for selling you the 3rd party, if you insisted on the cheaper one.. unless u ask for an ori DS3 n they gave you the 3rd party ones..

then u must ask them to replace an AUTHENTIC & ORIGINAL controller for u if they have any...plus they will ask you to top up according to Ori ds3 price... if i were u i wont top any more than RM130.. coz for the trouble that u going back n forth n getting a substandard controller should be compesate.. or u can exchange other item+topup like alex said..

if you cannot resolve the matter in a winwin condition.. other options is to go to the authorities like tribunal pengguna..

some seller genuinely are not well informed by supplier about the product they sell... thats y i put the sentence in bracket like below

at least they entertain you n u got ur controller issue solved..
its up to ur descretion whether to continue to support the shop or not..

some mistakes are genuine.. while some trying to get quick bucks..

trogdor1oh1 is right... if you put a test displaying a same title game on both consoles.. usually xbox is much more superior in graphics & load times... but only a few will look better on ps3 e.g: ff13

consoles i see have varied prices and packages from one shop to anothers offer.. But original games... i give up buying from physical shop...
