What I can try doing is lock B7 and check if it remains connected during my commute (Cyber to Shah Alam) back.

Looks like they might be preventing devices from using B7 as the primary band. Noticed this in the Puchong-USJ area. With just band 7 enabled, and all others used by Maxis disabled. My phone drops to 2G. But let's say I enable just band 1. My phone would use b1 as the primary band and band 7 for carrier aggregation. |
