Hi all,
My boss subscribe to TM 1gbps business unifi & using the supplied DPN-FX3060V fiber router. He also subscribe 5 additional static ip from TM.
My question how to do sort of like NAT translation where 1 public ip is mapped to an internet ip. is the default router even capable of handling multiple public static ips?
thanks.
Yes, the supplied router are able to do basic NAT, Port Forwarding, DMZ etc. You just need to configure it correctly.
Having 5 Fixed IPs will usually means there are 5 servers or services that needs to be independently working from each other.
Example :-
TM Fixed IP NAT Internal IP
.................... ..... ..................................
172.128.18.10 --> Server1 (192.168.0.100)
172.128.18.11 --> Server2 (192.168.0.101)
172.128.18.12 --> Server3 (192.168.0.102)
172.128.18.13 --> Server4 (192.168.0.103)
172.128.18.14 --> Server5 (192.168.0.104)
Hope this helps...
