In my situation, the engine overheated due to a jammed water pump and thermostat. At the workshop, the head was confirmed warped and requires a replacement.
After this fiasco, the always change the water pump and thermostat every 2-3 years regardless overheating or not.
Car suddenly blew hot aircond even after moving., Casket/Engine KO? Fan is working fine
