Sorry I am not well versed with car issue. This morning when I went to work, I had to stop by roadside to pickup a work call. My car suddenly blew warm air and the temperature spiked to one bar below the highest. Thinking its just fan issue, I continue driving as usual straight to workshop since its not far away but the aircond did not improve. Went to workshop to change the radiator hose since its leaking as per my foreman suggestion and when he tried to put water into the radiator opening, he said it was coughing up water, meaning some part of the engine was already bend (casket bengkok/putus). He said my fan is working fine. Does this mean I need an engine overhaul? Car is already 10+ years. Saga flx.

hmm means have to consider this too. The advices most of them given are if the oil leak into radiator usually have to change the whole thing. If no leaking can try top up coolant and see how it goes. Would change the gasket too tbh since the oil leaking have been quite severe but still in proper level even after months/years.

Assuming the worst case scenario, how much the repair would cost me?
