tumpang thread wta my car aircond recently it start off cold but after awhile it not cold, I put hand at aircond the fan is still blowing just not cold. Could this be just a small matter not enough gas or something serious???

Just find those AC flushing service offer. Usually send mine to Petronas AutoExpert Cheras KL for rm99 AC flushing, which change the compressor oil and top up/replace the gas to optimum level. My car last time got leaked, one nearby AC shop fast2 give quotation need recond compressor for few k, while one honest shop in Kajang told due to gas leaked, no gas, compressor will not running. So jimat few k

Mine due to rubber O-ring burst between condenser parts connection . So all in repairs at rm300 including refill gas back. Done at KA Kajang Auto Accessories & Air Cond

Perhaps your cooling coil aka evaporator is icing up. Most probably due to insufficient gas in the system, and indicating there is a leak in your aircond system. As to where is it leaking, that's the job of aircond tech/shop to check, unless it is so obvious that you can notice there is an area wet with oil along the aircond system pipes and components in the engine bay.

Just to konfim, did you notice lately there were occasions where your car's aircond holes blowing out stream of mist? Also, was there a bigger than usual pool of clean (condensation) water under your car after stopping for 1/2hours?

no I dont see any mist and below my car where I parked is dry..

For AC, better go to shop that is recommended by friends etc, else AC car shop had reputation to cut throat. End up rm1k+ bill at AC shop is normal. They love to change the whole parts eventhough can change the malfunction only

Especially if the girl/wife sending the car for AC repair.

the problem is my trusted repair people all retired already. Mostly likely have to send to official Perodua SC and hope it dont burn hole in my wallet..

hi bro, so I went to a neighbour friend aircond repair and he pump gas and did some cleaning. But the problem still there, mostly during hot sunny weather the aircond not cold at all. If cloudy day the aircond still ok. Do you or any sifu here had any experience with same symptoms? Need to know if this need major repair more then rm1k to fix? If yes then I just gonna trade in the car, not worth to repair...

I usually send mine to Petronas AutoExpert Cheras for AC flushing. They usually inform me what the issues they found in my car. The flushing at rm99 is ok. After flushing my car usually ok as normal.

Iirc faced the same as u, hot, jammed it were hot. Turn out gas level not optimum from not remember which workshop I done before
