I loss my iphone yesterday. I have activated lost mode but I can detect the location of my iphone via Find My app. Does it mean iphone is not successfully erase yet?

cannot login, can erase? I thought iphone you can make it brick, so no one else can use it after you lost it.

erased already,i tot there's another option for that? ..
even after lost mode you can still find the phone in ios 15 and later |

I thought they still detected if got IPhone nearby? Like airtag?
