after u have brew your own coffee, outside coffee from chain cafe taste like crap

not necessary. there are many options other than buying espresso machine

Capsule coffee produces espresso.

Machine + Grinder, maybe around RM1200-1500 depending on quality you buy

Beans can get good ones at around RM150-200/kg

One cup uses about 7-9 grams of coffee. So one bag can make 111 shots of coffee.

1L of milk costs about RM9. One cup of latte uses about 150ml of milk, so can make 6 cups.

So a cup of latte would cost you RM3.20 in ingredient cost.

A cup of latte outside typically cost RM12 nowadays. So got cost difference of RM9

If you spent RM1500 on your machines and drink one cup of coffee a day. You will break even with your machine cost in 167 days. After that you save RM9 per coffee every day

ayam drink epresso capsule, 1 capsule is RM2.50, with milk around RM3.50 per cup.

compare previously ayam drink yit fot coffee RM12 for 10 pack, that is RM1.20 per cup.

RM3.50 - RM1.20 is RM2.30 more daily...

the above calculation is only subject to ayam only

I dont care much about brand or taste. As long as I get my daily dose of caffeine.

Morning usually I buy my coffee from 7E or FM, cheapest option. Next choice of option usually McD. If I'm at my office, usually I go for Kenangan or Zus, these 2 are the closest to my office (within walking distance).

Speaking of coffee machine, can someone recommend cheap reliable espresso machine? I usually go for double shot americano, no milk. Looking to buy Giselle KEA0339LB (RM 329 from shoppee). The review I go t quite ok for this machine. Just for office use, maybe 2-3 people use it, twice or 3 times per day.

want cheap brew yourself la. I start with a cheapo espresso machine before buying a good quality one. initial cost is high but after that your running cost is dirt cheap.

A cup of cappucino with single origins beans cost me around rm2 daily. took me around 5 minutes for a cup of coffee. no fancy latte art tho

u buy milk, farm fresh RM8 (1L) can make 3 latte. so ur milk cost rm3 already. add 2 only u get latte that come from expensive machine. good enough pressure. worth it la. also your milk if not consume fast not fresh already.

Koppiku... only RM7.50 a latte la, one of the better tasting coffee places lately.

I say my cost what not yours. I dont put lots of milk in my coffee, 150ml only. also I'm using meadow fresh milk that cost 5.90. based on my usage can get 6 cup so rm1 percup.
so 10g of beans cost rm1 and 1 150ml of milk is rm1. so rm2 what.

buy a cheap ~rm250 single group espresso maker, or exchange with ccard points. buy fine grind coffee (espresso) ~rm50-60/0.5kilo. good fopr 2 weeks. nvr need to buy from any coffee shop again

Quick fact: Chatgpt says KOPI is good to lower visceral fat.

trust me, ur coffee likely not as good as these. cheap espresso maker unable to make a good espresso that usinga machine that cost 5 figure. as times goes by u will be lazy to “maintain” ur coffee machine and bean.
