Hi i am looking at doing a bathroom renovation and came across microcement.

Microcement limits any grout lines, easier to clean and resistent to damp and mould issues.
Tiles on the other hand are not and harder to clean, mould at grout lines.

I dont want to hack my current tiles at bathrooms, new house.
1) Anyone tried microcement on there bathroom floor and walls? How did it turn out? Any issues?

study show the microcement is very good materials, but the right procedures to apply several layers is the key to have a successful microcement, else if workmanship dont follow right procedures then it will crack and chip easily.
2) where in Penang can I find the good workmanship that follow all procedures needed to do microcements? any contact to pm me?

This is actually a pointless answer I'm about to give. But I'll give it anyway, for perspective.

1. What we've found is the brand really matters. We used to use some random microcement brand from Spain and that didn't work. Then we ended up with Forcrete with a qualified installer and it has been 10 years and no issues. Issue is..............we don't have Forcrete in Malaysia. This was for my house in UK.

2. From what I've heard, there's a company called Wall Plus Concept that has done it. They've had homes using Microcement with no issues, +60 16-346 8141 [Nicole]. They're based in Klang Valley but you can give them a call. They might be able to go up.

For us, ultimately because of the lack of confidence, we just ended up tiling the bathroom and microcemented the rest of the house.

if i understand correctly, you mean:
1) Your UK house used the Forcrete brand microcements, and it work 10years without any cracking line and easy cleaning, right?
2) your MY house not using any microcements due to without trusted brand.
