Recently, there is issue logging into personal hotmail/outlook/skype with the error:

"TOO MANY REQUESTS"

It just happened at random day/time and if it happens, that browser would not able to log you in. Well it will be fine at random day/time.
Changing different browser might help, sometimes.
Rebooting modem/router, might help too.
Rebooting PC/laptop, might help too.

How to resolve this please?

Searching from Microsoft forums, don't really helps.

I am not sure if it is still relevant, but back in those days when we lag while gaming, we used to call tm to help restart something on their end, then after that it would be smooth. but now with unifi a reboot on user end would suffice.

You can try using another device to see if it's router/network issue, if different device have similar problem then probably that's it.

If not, then it's just the pc problem, can check the processor if anything is hogging the network. If software issue, you can try restore to a point before the problem happens, sometime could be a buggy update.
If hardware, then can try different lan cable/wife adapter to see if the problem persists.

I think you can also open a report with unifi for them to send their technician to assess the problem, they will come onsite to troubleshoot.

Google search results show that this problem is growing for months.
Microsoft is giving all kinds of excuses like account being hack, etc.
Some of the users also face problems on mobile login.

I report the problem, after 1 month still Microsoft cannot solve.

Better start migrating to other providers.

This is very old problem. I guess Microsoft provide those free services to everyone on their server which is running over 15 years. I switch to Google for since it first having such issue. My wife also recently fed up with intermittently facing such issue, she also decided to migrate everything to Google.

Yeah, I’ve had this happen a few times, and it’s super annoying. For me, using an incognito window usually gets around it, so now I just try that first. Clearing cookies for the site also helped once when incognito didn’t work. There was one time where I switched to my phone’s hotspot for a bit, and somehow that let me log in again, but it feels pretty random. Definitely not ideal, but those are a few things that worked for me.

Try sign out your microsoft accounts in other devices that you don't need. MS Edge, OneDrive...etc. in old computers, phones, tablets.

You may try to use another device like tablet to try sign in to accounts.microsoft.com to delete devices you no longer need.

I have too many devices that signs in my microsoft account. I'm hit w this problem so i sign out other computers n phones, leaving only 1 phone, 1 laptop n 1 tablet signed in, it works fine
