My old fujitsu laptop the power adapter broken already.
I replaced it with a spare adapter but the output voltage is different surprisingly it works. The original is 19V and I replaced it with a 16v still works. The amp also different abit.
So I want to know whether it is safe to continue using it? Pls advice. Thanks

It may work but the AC Adapter will die prematurely.
Better order an universal one online instead. Inexpensive.

it's probably pulling more amps to compensate for it might not be good for both of them
still recommend to buy 19v brick if possible

I’ve been in a similar spot before, using a different voltage adapter when mine broke. While it might seem to work fine for now, I’d be careful. A lower voltage can lead to issues like overheating or draining your battery faster, which isn't worth the risk. I ended up getting a new adapter that matched the original specs, and it was definitely the better choice in the long run.
