Feel like getting an image makeover for 2025.

Thinking of temporary tattoos for my face, neck and chest.

Want some hot, sexy, bad girl look especially when going out at night brows.gif

Q1. Do guys like tattooed girls?

Q2. Do guys have certain preferences for women's night look/outfit during clubbing and drinking?

Q1. I prefer a beautiful blank canvas without any semi-permenant artificial enhancements
if you are looking for image makeover, perhaps can do it to hairstyle, make-up, dressing, accessories?

Q2. are you going to be the bold type or the elegant type of night wear for clubbing purpose? i think that makes a huge difference
*
I like sexy yet elegant look. Hate looking cheap.

How about this type?

got hairdo, makeup, earrings, bling-bling dress and some lace brows.gif

If the tattoo is well placed and able to enhance features yes
But so far looking at those above, er no

As to second question - it depends on what I am looking for at that particular occasion
If I am looking for a companion and a good date - then darker color dresses, not too long not too short that creates a silhoutte feel, polite but adventurous abit
If I am looking for approachable and possibly quick hit / ons - shorter dresses that show more skin and allow for more skin or body contact (with consent of course)
*
How about face jewels to enhance features? Can accept this type?

No, I truly dislike girls with ink on their bodies. This fascination with sullying a person’s beautiful natural body with tattoos has to end and it’s not coming soon enough.

Thanks for your input.

Ok next question, which dress will catch your attention?

I don't do clubbing and I like my girls without makeup/dressing up.
Basically a simple plain girl.
And as ifourtos said above, never.
Depends on your goal and your target guy.
*
Uhh okay. But generally, girls do spend time and money on make-up and skin care, especially for important social events like clubbing, wedding, party, etc. organised by their lady friends.

To turn out bare-faced with simple clothing... is very disrespectful because it shows zero effort to look good = leaves unfavourable impression = might not get invited to the next event.

Men don't feel the pressure, but women do, because of the beauty standards and expectations the society has set.

Anyway, thanks for your opinion. thumbsup.gif

Different backgrounds different worldview
Tatoo is a big no.

We put marks on animal and product
We wont put mark on body

Ahhh yeah, most people think this way.

For me, I learn to appreciate body tattoos that are beautifully done, as a form of art. I usually want to know the stories behind their chosen patterns.

Personally, muscular men with some body tattoos do look attractive to me. Combination of physical strength + some bad boy vibes. LOL

However, most women don't think so; only a minority especially in Asian countries. It's an acquired taste.

There are some girls I know who don't do makeup. When I meet them no make up. That is attractive to me.
The girls I see no clubbing or nights out. Totally no no for me.

I aim for those no make up, wearing simple clothes. I appreciate t-shirt with jeans.
*
I get what you mean. You like basic and simple girls.

I'm from another world. Whenever I attend events, I must look good. It usually takes 3-5 days for me to prepare my skin, try on clothes, style from hair-to-toe, and look great on the event day.

My male companions are usually tall (>180 cm+), good-looking and successful, and I complement them by dressing up beautifully to make them proud. We look good taking photos together, and get awarded as "Best Dressed".

Yeah, it's a social status thingy, for the fame and limelight. Quite fun actually. I get to dress up and enjoy being beautiful with all the compliments. Vanity fair. Lol

Tattoos are tricky. Not everyone can successfully pull it off. For example, a sexy tattoo of a dolphin can easily turn into a beached whale if the canvas gains weight and the person bloats up, eg in pregnancy.

Good luck
*
Yup, the ink used and the skills of the tattooist are extremely important. & The skin must not have any allergic reaction + must be able to heal well.

I have 3 on my body, tattooed 7 years ago, still looks okay.

Won't tattoo new ones; will just use tattoo stickers for fun. 😁

If plan to do hardcore clubbing i.e. dance / jump etc, I won't be expecting much so its okay
But if mau lots of close up interaction, then abit susah
Cuz wanna make out all also scared scratch or injure the face
Plus aesthetic wise it doesnt add much to my liking

I see... okay, thanks for your input. thumbsup.gif

I'm starting to get a feel of how men's taste are like. Let me gather more info and I'll come to my own conclusion. hehe

I get where you're coming from, but this forum is not the right place to ask la. Like going to your girlfriends and asking them which PC component to buy cause you want to overclock.

For tattoos, got a simple rule la. If you have to ask; don't. You need to know why you're getting the tattoo, which then translates to the confidence in pulling it off.

As for all your fashion questions, unless you're indirectly fishing for someone here, there's no general preference that will match most men. Everyone has a different preference, the best you could do is different sub-culture's general preferences. As shown in the replies here, most men here prefer simpler looks. I myself fall into the category, but I can appreciate and do really appreciate when my partner dresses for the occassion.

My advice would be, just experiment with looks/styles you're not used to. Since you've been out of a long term relationship. Now's a good time to explore, then see what results you get and how it makes you feel. You'll find your new unique style that will ensnare an equally unique man. Go generic and all you will get are generic people tongue.gif
*
haha I like your reply.

I'm not fishing for anyone la, just asking out of curiosity to get a general feeling of what men like... which turned out to be really surprising for me. I didn't know men liked simple looks. (usually fashion designers are males lehhh? hmm.gif )

You see, I was brought up to wear dress, look feminine, wear heels, do skincare, put some makeup, wear some perfume, curl my hair, polish nails, etc... by my mom. She had hundreds of outfits, gowns, dresses... in her two big wardrobes. I was raised to be ladylike, and even girls thought I was soft and feminine and made them feel like tomboys/'chor lor'. To me, it is a norm to dress up and look good whenever I attend events. I also look good at home, with the good girl/ wifey look.

& I don't wear jeans at all. The T-shirts that I have are all given by other people or from events. I usually wear blouses, trousers, pants, dresses, two-piece suits, gowns, and have dozens of heels and sandals-- I don't wear plain slippers. (as advised by image consultants)

Hence, I'm sooooooooo surprised to see that guys are okay with girls wearing just plain shirt and jeans. Like, what? So easy to please? Really?? (It's good news to me, actually laugh.gif )

No wonder la, in my twenties, when I dressed up nicely for lunch/dinner dates with some make-up and jewellery, those guys looked at me like lust.gif . If I had known, I would have worn simple outfits to reduce extra attention. haha

Do you know there's a saying that women make up and dress to impress other women? It's not to impress men. LOL.
+ we loveeee to take selfies and post on FB/IG. biggrin.gif

I know what styles I like and wanna try. Just wanna gauge general preferences only. biggrin.gif

Chii like dress 6, normal enough yet sexy and confident.
Also men say they don’t like make up. Don’t believe that because most of us encounter shit / lame make up from most girls as they are not professionals.

Refer back to those make up done for professionals for weddings, events, concert or photoshoot sessions. Those make up are what men really want but don’t know they need it. Many don’t know that those tvb / korean / japanese artists have good make up on them. If artists don’t make up, you cannot recognize them on the streets.

Also if your face is pretty, light make up or normal good make up should be very good.

Btw, why u have to reveal u abit curvy, my visualization of you now exploded. Chii thought u were like fan bing bing at her peak condition….
*
Yeah, I've come to think that men are okay with makeup that looks more natural + done in moderation, not excessively.

Haha... sorry to burst your bubbles. In my teenage and young adult years, I used to be tall and skinny like a model, with obvious collar bones but flat boobs and butts.

After stepping into my thirties, my body changed to become more like Jennifer Lopez; more to see, touch, hold and grab-- according to ex and some other guys-- and don't have to worry about breaking my bones. LOL laugh.gif

Unexpectedly, my new body shape attracted another group of men.

In my younger days, I used to get honked by cars. Then, when I looked up, those drivers (usually Chinese males) would wave at me and say "hi, 美女 (pretty girl)". blush.gif sweat.gif

The funniest happened during my high school, when I was walking along the road with my classmate. There was a kancil that sped past us, but suddenly it reversed on the road. We felt it was odd, so we looked at it. The driver reversed his car, parked next to us, wound down his window, and said, "Hi, xiao jie (miss). You look so pretty. Can I have your phone number?"

Walao eh, I blushed on the spot while my classmate laughed non-stop. I still remember this vividly until today.

So yeah, different body shapes attract different men. LOL
