always kena USB debugging shit and need to remove and download again

then have to activate token at PB ATM

PB should disclose who is the donkey developer they use

myPB works well on my iphone, better than pbe which often had weird errors.

works well on Android as well, except for the USB debugging annoyance.

Aiya, PB customers just walk in branch lah.

I'm forced to buy new phone because this new app won't work for my device.

Can change bank already.

Much better compared to engage , pb already soft launch this app last year and now pb silently migrating from engage to this

Usb debugging is also present on other banks app. This and OS version requirements is probably to meet BNM regulation

Correction is detected usb debugging, because usb debugging can be abused for certain malicious activities. (Although useful for some like debloating or shizuku for some advanced permission)

Xiaomi also have similar pop up warning with countdown when try enabling this usb debugging

So many steps in activating the new APP, in the end still requires us to go to the bank for final activation.

Activating thru ATM is no difference than activating at bank since PBB ATM is only found at their bank and almost nowhere else.

I downloaded it recently. quite good, no bugs yet.

The interface is clean (unlike some s̶h̶o̶p̶p̶i̶n̶g̶ banking app)
Notifications are accurate, no spams so far.

Worst bank ever

Worse bank ever but this app is quite good. It is so much better than the previous version. I only used them when helping my mom transfer funds and the old app is dog shit that she struggled to navigate.

Malaysia 3rd largest bank....

You follow instruction on the app, it brings you back to PBengage to approve, then a message pop up says need to go ATM.

I cancel the process at that stage

Read more PBB FAQ, they say can email them lah to activate. Dunno want to try or not.

PB engage is old, MyPB is new one

last time I email (for pb engage 2fa). end up they still call me (almost a week later after my email).

Small amount or big amount, becoz I clearly recall when registering the new APP, it said need final activation for authorising transfer beyond certain amount.

Edit: I just log in to the APP, it said the PB SecureSign activation is in progress. Only quick payment of RM250 (chosen during APP set up) is in green.

for securesign no one can bypass atm/branch activation,

i activate everything except the atm/branch activation, got 2app in my fon, for securesign approval i still use pb engage

what I hate most is when I go to the branch, staff cannot activate on the spot, ask me to send email or call hq. really facepalm.

If u already at the back, why not just go activate at the ATM? You don’t have any ATm card with PBB?

Oh, that sucks. The bank officer also cannot directly activate without ATM card, think of it as a security feature so insider job to steal customer money won’t be so easy. I guess only the HQ specific department handling this, branch staff aren’t given such high clearance.

Okay, u went half way. But I think it’s just matter of time before they totally disable the old APP once overall transition is done.

btw, is it safe to delete pb engage after activate mypb securesign?
