i have bought those 3rd party battery that comes with the cover to clip on, those battery wont last me 2 hrs....

avoid at all cost
just get the sanyo eneloop, thats the best out there

yup same here buy 3rd party one...even worst only last for 1 and half hour...but that only on first week, the second week not even an hour...

Hi guys. For those new Nintendo Ds Lite BRAND NEW ! ... how long the battery can play for ? I bought a brand new Nintendo, but it only allow me to play around 4 hours than i need to recharge FOR 3 hours !.

I gone through the instruction guide, its say brand new battery can recharge 500 times with the battery allow us to play 15 hours ! ? why mine only 4 hours + ??

Help me please

15 hours is for lowest brightness setting

FOr the Nintendo DS guy yes if u put it to low brightness.

Of course. Rechargeable batteries basically discharge. Eneloop is a rechargeable battery and its the latest technology for rechargeable batteries becoz it is hybrid battery. which means after 1 year there will still be 80% capacity if not used. this goes the same for UNIROSS HYBRIO thought ^^ anyway i don't recommend Sony and GP .. they are lousy. just the advertisements.

uniross hybrio? good ah? compare to eneloop which one betteR?

I set mine at brightness setting number 2 and max volume, I usually can play around 8 hours which is long enough for me.

I always set mine at highest brightness setting and max volume with earphones attached. Maximum only can get 4 hours of play time. But then again I leave it to charge every night when I go to sleep. Don't know whether will this deteriorate the life span of my battery.

Personally, i've used eneloop and hybrio. First and foremost, eneloop have lower capacity compared to hybrio. However, eneloop discharge rate is lower compared to hybrio. Another thing is, when we charge eneloop using ANOTHER charger ( which means not sanyo brand charger ) the battery will be EXTREME HOT! around 95 degree. Whereas Uniross is more user friendly. Any chharger 'll do. Besides, the good thing about UNIROSS is they give 1 year WARRANTY for their charger!! Tats so cool!

Added on November 6, 2007, 9:53 amOf course it will! Rechargeable battery / litium bettery can only be recharged 1000 times. if u charge every night consistently, u can use the battery for 3 years!!

i read some review, the eneloop can recharge 1000 times while the hybrio only 500 times. Is this confirm?

Ohhgh... let me try it tmr ! finish up my battery tonight .. hope it really long enough for 8 hours !
